Butter - Knackered on Flickr.
This color is fantastic. Crazy fantastic. Shiny flecks of glitter, iridescent shine, and not quite blue, not quite gray, and a smidge of green.
Totally in love with this color.
OPI - Excuse Moi over PePe’s Purple Passion (Muppets) on Flickr.
The glitters from the OPI Muppet collection are better with a darker base color underneath, and I think this one might be one of the better pairings. Very glitter heavy, but still complimentary colors.
MAC - Rouge Marie and Zoya - Opal Fleck on Flickr.
I am completely in love with the Zoya Opal fleck and the blues and green really came out with the darker base of one of my older reds.
This MAC Rouge Marie is a really great bright red that goes well to brightening up my mood. With the added sparkle from the fleck, it was a fun manicure.
Butter - The Black Knight and Zoya - Opal on Flickr.
This was my first experience with the Butter colors, and the richness and depth of the color was amazing.
The Black Knight is very very very glittery and as such it is one of those colors that goes on a little thick and isn’t exactly super smooth. A couple of top coats and it was good to go and felt like a mini cosmos on my fingers.
I wanted to see what the Zoya Opal fleck looked like plain before I tried it out over another color, and it is really pretty all by itself. I think it will add a lot of depth to a variety of colors.
Zoya - Tanzy on Flickr.
This is my first Zoya color, and it is really sparkly pretty, My only complaint about Zoya so far is the brush. It seemed a little short and stubby. The color totally made up for any brush shortcomings.
Ulta - Green With Envy and OPI - Fireflies top glaze on Flickr.
The Ulta Green With Envy was ridiculous dark and I didn’t care much for the way it looked. I put the OPI Fireflies glaze over the top and gave it sort of a cool dragonfly fluttery sparkle glitter.
Which I’ve done a hideous job of capturing here, but did manage to fascinate me while I was typing all week.
